Eileen O’Connor Catholic College is a College that provides holistic educational services for young people with a moderate intellectual disability and other complex learning needs. In future years, our College will be a base school for a network of satellite classes in both primary and secondary schools and colleges across Sydney Catholic Schools, in addition to being a centre of excellence for teachers providing for students with disabilities. We also plan to establish an Early Intervention Centre on our Lewisham site
As a Catholic College, we celebrate all aspects of the Catholic faith, with regular masses, liturgies, prayer as well as a strong commitment to social justice on behalf of our students and their families and carers. Our aim is to provide our students with an education that caters for their diverse range of needs and provides opportunities and experiences that will enable them to lead lives full of promise and meaning in a rapidly changing world. We do this through focusing strongly on inclusion and working with a wide range of community partners in creating an environment that is both welcoming and nurturing for our students and all people with disabilities.
Thank you for visiting our website and I hope that you may have the opportunity to visit and experience our campus in the future. Please contact me at any time if you wish to discuss any aspect of our plans for the College.
